Potassium is an essential element for plant growth. It is commonly applied to gardens, lawns and orchards as part of a regular fertilizer program. It is especially important to edible crops and enhances the size and quality of fruits and vegetables. Potassium is water soluble, meaning it readily dissolves in water and can be absorbed by the plant roots. Without potassium, the plant cannot cycle the nutrients to feed roots, leaves and fruits.
Power Plant Potassium Nitrate is a water soluble fertilizer with high content of potassium and nitrogen along with optimal amount of Sodium. It is readily soluble in water and suitable for drip irrigation and foliar application of fertilizers. This combination is suitable for post bloom and physiological maturity. Water soluble fertilizer (WSF) has been developed to help fertigation that is the method of fertilizer application in which fertilizer is incorporated in irrigation water by drip system.
This fertilizer beneficial for crops from middle stage to maturity stage. It can be used by either drip irrigation or leafy spray method. The recommended dose of fertilizer through drip irrigation is 1.5 gm to 2.5 gm in one litre of water considering the type of soil and variety of crops.
When it used through leafy spray method it is recommended as 1.5 gm to 2.0 gm in one litre of water. It should be applied 60-70 days after sowing of crop.
